That’s a good question. And an easy one to answer. The single most important, vital thing to do is to just talk about this stuff.
Not online, but in the real world. With family, and friends, and co-workers, etc. Even though the Zogby poll shows that a full 50% of Americans believe that something very, very wrong has happened in this country on and since 9/11, it’s still a very, very hard thing for people to talk about. The media has people so well conditioned to accept the official line on things and denounce everything else as "wack job conspiracy" that people are afraid to speak their mind. If all of this stuff simply came out of the back closets and internet chat rooms and quiet whispers, and instead was discussed at the family dinner table, or Starbucks, or in classrooms, or at cafeteria tables, etc., we’d be in infinitely better shape. It doesn’t take long. I’d suggest that people call into their local radio morning shows on the way to work or school, write a quick letter to the editor of your local newspaper, give a presentation in class, etc. Simple little things like that go a long, long way, and they take very little time.

It take only ten minutes to write a letter to an editor of your newspaper, but that letter can be seen by thousands of people, especially if you live in a big city. But again, the single most important thing is to talk about these things. Talking has the ability to make things real and concrete. It’s not an easy subject to talk about, believe me I know, but you’d be shocked as to how many people are already harboring the exact same feelings and doubts inside. If it becomes part of regular discourse EVERYWHERE, than the talking-heads and mass media can longer pretend like it’s some kind of a minority belief, especially when all polls show that it’s the majority opinion. It genuinely seems like things are getting urgent. If everyone puts 10 minutes a day into discussing the harsh reality of what’s going on in America, there can be a HUGE difference made - massive. What’s happening in this country simply COULDN’T happen if Americans didn’t sit idly by and let it get worse by the day.

Rome fell because its people were too soft and unmotivated to stand up for themselves and instead trusted that someone else was taking care of their problems.

And America succeeded 230 years ago because citizens took action themselves.

God Help America.

With the middle class falling apart, out of control immigration from the worlds poorest countries, billions of dollars in national debt, sending all our wealth to other nations and borrowing it back, just where do we go from here?

Just look at home and land values which have dropped to a point that it will take years to recover to a level equal to 18 months ago, considering the normal rate of increase is 3-4% a year.

Well, yes, somewhat, but the bigger problem is that the whole world has been based on our Gluttony. Only if we consume, borrow, consume, consume, borrow, does the whole thing work.

And know there trying to find a way to get us to spend more, so that we’ll use up more natural resources. Basically, the more natural resources we consume in a year, the better for our ecomony.

This is rediculous. Not to mention that we don’t actually make ANYTHING anymore in the US. We just spend, and now, whether due to interest rates, housing markets, bankers, whatever, we are not spending and it will spiral us downward.

And now Obama wants to borrow another TRILLION dollars to pass out like it’s candy trying to stimulate the economy. It’s simply delaying the inevitable. And at the end, we’ll owe that much more.

So it’s like saying "hmmm, well I lost my job and my credit card is maxed….I know, I’ll get another Credit Card with an even higher balance. that’ll solve it."

Meeting of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly began in St.Petersburg on April 3-4. Its General Secretary Mikhail Krotov said on the eve of the meeting that Afghanistan was aspiring for membership in the Commonwealth. "Afghani delegations attended three previous meetings of the Parliamentary Assembly and this meeting is not an exception," Krotov said. "Their participation in meetings of the Parliamentary Assembly is of paramount importance for Russia and other CIS countries." Experts say meanwhile that the idea of absorbing Afghanistan into the Commonwealth is not as populist as it may appear at first sight. Its practical realization, however, requires certain efforts.

Provided CIS leaders and first and foremost leaders of Russia understand the purpose of this integration correctly, the process may become quite rewarding for all involved parties. "Where Afghanistan is concerned, it needs CIS membership for development of its transport network, revival of economy, and attraction of investments from other CIS states," Dmitry Verkhoturov of Afghanistan.Ru said.

Experts point out that absorption of Afghanistan by the Commonwealth will greatly benefit the latter. It will enable the Commonwealth to do away with existence of a thoroughly unstable and problematic buffer zone Afghanistan is. "Buffer zone is an area where interests of world powers collide, it is an area where big-time political games are played. It will disappear with absorption of Afghanistan by the Commonwealth. In fact, the Commonwealth with Afghanistan in it will have a direct border between itself and Pakistan, India, and China. With the buffer zone a thing of the past, everyone will have to seek agreements with all others, and that will pacify the region," to quote Alexander Sobyanin, Chief of the Strategic Planning Service of the Association of Transboundary Cooperation.

Experts warn that it is wrong to view expansion of the Commonwealth into Afghanistan as an end in itself. This country should be integrated into the CIS structure, or the Commonwealth will certainly fail and may even find its very existence in jeopardy.

"First and foremost, we need a foothold (military included) in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan because we cannot hope to be able to maintain a grip on Afghanistan without it. We should also recognize the fact that what we will never see the money we will be investing into this country. It is necessary to invest in the Afghani elite, in the national education and health care spheres. In short, it is necessary to set up a modernized zone in Afghanistan so as to leave its maintenance to the Afghanis themselves," Sobyanin said. He is convinced that successful integration of Afghanistan into the Commonwealth is impossible without China’s support.

Membership in the Commonwealth offers new opportunities to Afghanistan itself. First, it will better the chances of integration into regional organizations like the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization. Second, an armed conflict in Central Asia will make it necessary for the regional countries to launch a process of energetic integration even up to establishment of a common state for the purpose of dealing with the common threat. Experts say that there is only one country under whose aegis this integration may take place, and this country is Russia.

it`s unbeliveble what the people that lead americans do. they consumme every bit of ressource of the world in order to save their own. they steal(!) countries like Panama (for the Panama channel) by discrediting the president a president that cared for the poor, president Noriega. a president who only wanted to keep his country to his people. they accused him of drug trafiic and imprisoned him for 40 years. they are destroying my contry to. an american company is going to polute thousands of hectars of land with cianur (a poison) in order to extract gold. nothing will grow on those fields for thousands of years. by doing that they will destroy an International monument- the antique roman mines (http://www.rosiamontana.ro/index_en.shtml).
