He has a few things to say about global warming and the economic recession… and he also reads The Guardian. :)

"Apparently speaking in his second audio broadcast of the month, Bin Laden criticised George W Bush, the former US president, for not signing the Kyoto Protocol on regulating carbon emissions, and spoke out against excessive corporate influence in the United States.

He also presented himself as an opponent of government bail outs to western banks, whose speculation and unfair competition practices, he claimed, were largely to blame for the global financial crisis.

Setting out his ideas for financial recovery in a message apparently timed to coincide with the world economic Forum in Davos, Bin Laden echoed Russian calls for an end to international reliance on the US dollar.

Recognising that such a step could cause short term upheaval, he insisted that ultimately the dollar’s demise as a global reserve currency would emancipate mankind from the slavery of corporate America.

The terror chief also appeared to reveal himself to be a reader of the Guardian when he quoted from an interview with Noam Chomsky, the liberal linguistics professor, which appeared in the newspaper in November."

:-D
Osama is out of touch…they don’t call it global warming anymore. Since global temperatures stopped going up during the 2000s the climate lobby started saying "climate change" instead. I’ve been reading about climbdowns from predictions of impending global doom regarding glacial icecaps melting away. I’ve been reading about suppression of global temperature data at the University of East Anglia. I’ve recently become a sceptic on man made climate change because of this. Bin Laden appears to be jumping on the same green socialist bandwagon that anti-globalisation primitives are riding in order to find friends. Both groups hate the modern world.

Keep in mind, this is just some of the EXTREME right wing conservative pundits, contributors, or heads in the administration … there are many more that aren’t listed!

and the newest, fairest, and most balanced of them all …

Of course, FNC has a few "faux" Democrats like Susan Estrich, who are either weak or are really not Democrats … just posing as one.

Here’s a link from the world economic forum showing Rupert Murdoch (founder and owner of News Corp., which Fox News is part of) basically saying he and Fox News have tried to shape the news, not report it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JF9HpuZm6-g

I’ve got no problem with Fox being a right wing network, but I do have a problem with their lying to people, claiming to be "Fair and Balanced." Some gullible individuals out there (and here) actually watch, drool, regurgitate, and watch again … the whole time never questioning whether what they are being told is actually true.

Just because Beck says the words "truth" and "facts" three dozens times in an hour show, doesn’t mean it is truth or facts. I’d compare it to the company retention specialist that is trying to keep your business … if they have to use words like "Honestly" … "Truthfully" etc. … odds are it is more than likely B.S.

I think the important questions for Fox News viewers are:

1) Is Fox News brainwashing you?

If you answered "NO" then seriously ask yourself this question ….

2)Do you think it is easier or harder to brainwash someone when they do not suspect they are being brainwashed?

exactly!
Proud Texan- The really funny thing is … A study by the Pew Research Study shows that viewers of the Daily Show and the Colbert Report a higher knowledge of national and international affairs than Fox News viewers, who rank nearly dead last.

http://thinkprogress.org/2007/04/16/daily-show-fox-knowledge/
you asked … WTF? Do I really nead to do your ENTIRE homework for you? I really don’t think there is any debate to the political leanings of ANY of the people I listed. So what kind of quotes would really be needed to prove that?

AND I DID GIVE A VIDEO OF MURDOCH!!
Dan- you are right … however, nobody listens to me and goes to town halls, tea parties, or 9/12 rallies. They are a much larger voice than little ole me. Check out the percentage of the WORLD media market that News Corp. (Murdoch) owns then get back to me.

I think you missed the obvious point.

Fox News viewers are so predictable …

"liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias" "liberal bias"

Please say something that FOX HASN"T BRAINWASHED YOU WITH!

Jesus loves Ann Coulter: Hey! I predicted you’d say that! Thanks!

Jesus, isn’t Republican or Democrat … so don’t pull religion into politics like weakminded, uneducated individuals try to do. It just makes you look silly and like part of the "sheeple" (to use a Micheal Savage saying) that don’t have a remote clue.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K2pLo8JV5Y&feature=player_embedded

What would motivate him to do this?

NOTE: This IS Rupert Murdoch at the world economic Forum.
Please don’t get me started on the bias over at MSNBC. If they lean any more to the left they will fall over. Of course, that doesn’t really excuse FOX, now does it?

DOES IT? No, it doesn’t.

This guy thinks he is so powerful and influential he cannot not be brought down, therefore he can say and do anything.*

The problems you face are even graver than you percieve them to be & they can only be resolved on a planetary level. Your outdated & primitive ways of approaching the problems of your current world situations will not bring the changes necessary for terrestrial survival.
So my real question is this: How does one with a GALACTIC PERSPECTIVE get you folks to chill out for 2 hours, take a 2 hour timeout in front of Satellite TV & listen to someone that can show you the SOLUTION to HUNGER, POVERTY, HEALTHCARE, HOMELESSNESS. To remove FEAR & HOSTILITY from this world so you can become members of THE GALACTIC COMMUNITY at end of this dispensational period, rather than waiting another millenium. You guys are knockin’ on HEAVENS DOOR! Do you know the PASSWORD to get in?
Here is the deal: I won’t answer any questions except, in a TELEVISED (Worldwide) FORUM with twenty experts of ECONOMIC, LOGISTIC, PHYSICAL & SOCIAL SCIENCES in a think tank. Thanx 4 reading this- SPREAD the WORD! ! !

That is some powerful fertilizer you’re spreading, and yet, I feel your perspective, because I too look at our world from what you call a "galactic" perspective. While the world may not be ready for your broadcast at this time, perhaps someday we’ll all take notice of your message, Da-iry!

Rupert Murdoch, owner and founder of Fox News, actually admits this in an interview at the world economic Forum on C-SPAN back in 2007.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K2pLo8JV5Y

There are other examples of Fox News admitting they don’t report the news … they try to shape it to fit their needs. The latest example is a statement sent to CNN this past October 2009:

"…the editorial page which is what our progamming represents." -Fox News statement.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AEt180Wnls&feature=related

With so many examples of Fox admitting they are not a news station, but a republican opinion propoganda machine, why do so many of you Fox viewers think they represent "FACTS" or the "TRUTH?"

I use those two words, because those are the two main buzz words Fox viewers use when describing Fox News. It amazes me that just because Beck says those two words … "truth" and "facts" … about three dozen times in his daily show doesn’t mean its true. I’d compare it to any corporate retention operator, like my most recent experience with Directv, that uses words like "honestly" and "truthfully" over and over again, telling you "this is the best deal they can offer you" to try to keep your business. Then when you say their offer isn’t good enough … "BYE-BYE" … they offer twice as much to try to keep you. Then I’m thinking back to the "honestly, this is the best I can do" comments and think "you lying sack of crap."

Same concept with self-proclaimed "fair and balanced" Fox News. If they tell you over and over again they are fair and balnced then its pretty obvious they aren’t.

how do some of you believe their crap?
browns_86- There you go again with the "truth" gab i was talking about. Sheeple are so predictable.
§§pecial Unicorn™ - Did I say I watched "the crap" you speak of? I’ve stating the obvious about Fox News and their lies well before Obama stood up to them. It is obvious you can not distinguish between responsible rhetoric and irresponsible rhetoric. You compare me to a sheep, yet you defend Fox News? Hypocrite

Did you even watch my first link with Murdoch?
Teagan- I don’t have stock in GE or MSNBC and aren’t losing. The real losers are the people like you that believe their crap.
Cocoa, my dog- Beck’s excessive lying problem is extensive. Here are a few examples (with support) of Beck lying or just being a piece of crap.
1) 5/21/09- http://www.tvsquad.com/2009/05/21/glenn-beck-gets-a-spanking-on-the-view/
Beck lies on the View
2)7/13/09- http://thinkprogress.org/2009/07/14/beck-sotomayor-questioning/
Sotomayor hearing lie.
3)1/7/08 & 5/12/08- http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/08/14/beck-railed-against-health-care-system/
Beck "flip floping" on healthcare with his move from CNN to Fox.
4)7/28/09- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ndc2LX2u98&feature=related
Beck being rascist.
5)2/12/09 & 9/21/07- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0tgvWxC_6A&feature=related
Beck being a hypocrite.

That’s just a small sample. There are countless examples of Beck being a liar or a piece of crap. Just search … its not that hard.

Fox news and it’s reputation is right up there with the Colbert Report and the Daily Show. The only difference is the viewers of the Colbert Report and the Daily Show know that it’s comedy. The die hard Fox News fans actually believe they’re in a….how does Bill put it…ah yes…’NO SPIN ZONE’ pffffft turn it up!

@brown - LMAO - case in point.

@Dirty Sanchez - ROFLMAO - So it’s the number 1 rating news show America, smart lot you Yanks. Nuff said.

Does this bother any of you?

World Gender Gap Worst in Islamic Nations — Survey Shows Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Yemen, Egypt, Turkey at Bottom of List
By R.E.A.L. Organization • on October 28, 2009

The 2009 report by the world economic forum has listed predominantly Islamic nations in the bottom of their annual Global Gender Gap (GGG) Index. This included such major nations as Pakistan (ranked 132 out of 134), Saudi Arabia (ranked 130 out of 134), Iran (ranked 128 out of 134), Egypt (ranked 126 out of 134), and Turkey (ranked 129 out 134). Yemen, which is 99 percent Islamic, was the bottom ranked nation as 134 on the Global Gender Gap Index. The only nation not predominantly Islamic in the bottom of the Global Gender Gap index was Benin.

In addition, the 2009 World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap Index report does not include rankings on a number of significant and predominantly Islamic nations where women are oppressed. Somalia (population of nearly 10 million) was not included in the index. Endless numbers of reports of the stonings and Islamic supremacist abuses of women have been reported in Somalia in the past year, including the stoning to death of a 13 year old girl based on “Sharia law” in October 2008. Sudan (population of nearly 41 million) was also not included in the world economic Forum Global Gender Gap Index. Among other nations, Afghanistan (29 million) and Iraq (29 million) are also not included in this Global Gender Gap Index. With the index not reporting on these 109 million, the desperate fate of an estimated 50 plus million women are not included in this Global Gender Gap index report.

Even with these significant exclusions from the Global Gender Gap index report, the bottom 10 index nations (excluding Benin), which are all predominantly Islamic nations, represent a population of over half a billion individuals. These include Yemen (134 out of 134), Chad (133), Pakistan (132), Saudi Arabia (130), Turkey (129), Iran (128), Mali (127), Egypt (126), Qatar (125), Morocco (124). If women represent half of the population in these nations, then these bottom 10 predominantly Islamic nations demonstrate the ongoing oppression of an estimated 250 million women.

…and do you think this has anything to do with Islam?
…or is it merely coincidence that the worst countries for women’s rights are all Islamic?

I’m a bit relieved to see that my contry is not in this list but i know here ,the condition is worse than many other contries.I donno how accurate the result is,but it’s beleivable and not suppose to b a coincidence.Islam is one of the most misunderstood religion in the world. This holy religion has treated every human being equaly but a group of filthy minded people have always twisted the logic for thier own benifit. It’s shocking that the specific ayahs in the Quran which were revealed to restore and preserve women rights have been used to opress them more for eras by the male dominated society.Even u can see many atheists who don’t give a damn to follow what the Quran or Hadith say,r talented enough to use them proving women r the infirior creature.I blame it on the women too who just confine them into kitchen, don’t tend to read & think deeply about islam and just follow whatever others say blindly.womens’ ignorance about religion has made this problem worse.

The time has come when we have to take on terrorism as an unforgivable crime against humanity and there should be world forum, under U.N.O. to deal with it. Pakistan has become breeding ground for terrorism with the blessing and support of army there. At present it’s targeting India mostly but sooner the maniac will grow bigger and get assess to nuclear weapons there. The manner in which world body is tackling it, is slow and ineffective. With China in its backing Pakistan is towering over India as a giant and the Govt. Of India lacks the necessary courage to take on Pakistan head on for fear of a nuclear out burst which can’t be denied altogether. In such a situation U.N.O must come forward and take stringent economic measures against the erring Pakistan and isolate it. Instead of America playing a major role in fighting terrorism and Taliban, I think combined forces of U.N.O should fight. I think U.S.A should take a back seat and allow U.N.O. to operate. Strengthen security council and abolish power to veto. Unless that is done, we can never wage a sustainable war against terrorism.

Let’s not beg for help from others.
Corruption has seeped deep into the core of our system, from the politicians down to the police forces. We should make efforts to root out this menace.
Let us revamp our Intelligence network. At present we have so many Agencies , working in cross purposes.
Did the UN solve the Kashmir problem ?
So let us have faith in ourselves.

Finally, we had a fair election. I know President Obama has a lot of work to do, in order to stop the economic downward spiral, and rebuild our economy, as well as rebuild America’s status in the world political forum. However, the election Of President Obama was the step in the right direction.

How will you be celebrating the election of President Obama today?

I celebrated last night. Today I am taking down the signs and removing the bumper stickers. The election is over, and there is a lot of work ahead. Thanks to everyone who voted for change!

Hillary Clinton has made statements unequivocally trumpeting NAFTA as the greatest thing since sliced bread. The Buffalo News reports that back in 1998, Clinton attended the world economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and thanked praised corporations for mounting "a very effective business effort in the U.S. on behalf of NAFTA." Yes, you read that right: She traveled to Davos to thank corporate interests for their campaign ramming NAFTA through Congress.

On November 1, 1996, United Press International reported that on a trip to Brownsville, Texas, Clinton "touted the president’s support for the North American Free Trade Agreement, saying it would reap widespread benefits in the region."
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-sirota/hillary-clinton-pretends-_b_86747.html

When Ross Perot said you hear that sound of jobs being sucked out of the USA, in regard to NAFTA he was dead on right.
No tarrifs equals jobs go to where its cheap and unregulated.
And I will be one of the first to say that I am against it and I will certainly admit that Reps and Dems both that were for this were on the wrong wrong wrong track.
And yes Hillary I believe has supported it and that was evidence of it.
Now the question is, is just granting amnesty really better?
As you know thats what Obama has supported.

All these protests, just seem to end up as fights. Like Charlie Brooker says there’s always an image of a "bleeding head guy" that detracts from any meaning of the protests.
Fair enough, I believe in democracy, however I don’t think it gives people the right to act like a t**t. Like the people who smashed in the RBS and stole computers at the G20 protests.
I think a lot of people go just to cause fights, from all the footage I see they all look like students and all I can think is "do these people not have jobs?"

Anyhoo, I had to watch some biased as HELL footage from an Autrian protest in 2001 about the world economic Forum. And I have to discuss it in class tomorrow with a group of 15 of the most left wing anti capitalists you could ever meet.
I want to get my opinion across, without being branded a fascist.

I think it’s silly, the message gets lost and they just annoy me.
People protesting doesn’t make me want to listen to their cause, it make me want to ignore their cause. Does that make me right wing? I have opinions, strong ones, but I wouldn’t protest because I do not want to be associated with things like that.

oh god I’m gonna be burnt alive tomorrow, arn’t I?

Please tell me what you think, I’m interested to know people’s opinions on protesting.

That isn’t really protesting as much as rioting which begets nothing but more violence. An actual protest should have a clear message, a desired and attainable goal/response.
Example recent US tea party protests were to let President/Congress know tax payers are fed up to the teeth with the foolish spending of both parties and that congress could swing other way round if the representatives don’t get behind their constituency before next years elections. Peaceful, concise, clear messaging - even then, some t**t’s showed up yelling about how bad republicans do this or that - seems they missed the "both parties memo"- they must be ignored because engaging in that sort of thing defeats you purpose from within.
When it turns ugly and there is violence, stealing, screaming about multiple things - the protest has ended.

Good luck on your discussion - remember agree with them, IDEALLY - globalization good, socialism good, singing and holding hands… all good - - However, in the real world, greed, laziness, self importance, pride all make it impossible. Also remember nearly every evil is brought about in search of a greater good - stealing is bad but people steal to gain something - food, property…, crimes of passion usually start out from jealousy which generally starts out as love…even drug use - granted bad but people start using drugs to escape depression or pain…
